I removed mine this evening but didn't reset the ecu and noticed a little jump in throttle response. However, if I didn't know it was done I'm not sure I would think 'whoah! why is my car so much faster!' It's also 95 deg and rediculously humid right now, so that's not helping much (yupnope). I should mention that I have an Injen CAI, stock boost with flashed ecu, hiboost FMIC w/hardpipes, and am running a dual valve setup (one recirc off the hotpipe and one to atmosphere on the cold side if that factors in).
peepsalot said:Just disconnect the negative battery cable. Then hit the brake pedal 5 times or so to run any possible stored charges out. Just disconnecting the battery without tapping the brakes isn't usually enough to reset everything, unless you disconnect for a long time.
