looks really nice dude! Now pull your dash cluster out and remove the little condoms on the lights... it will match the gauge that much better. TRUST ME. About a 10 minute job that will pay off instantly.

And oh yea, looks hella nice, and I want teh steering wheel pod BADLY. Lucky man you... lucky man.

are they similar to the ones that Autometer gauges come with?

where are the bulbs located on the cluster, i dont think i saw any when i installed my Dave B rings.

those silver things on our gauges are just clipped on there.
they are black underneath.
look at any 03 MSP and u'll know what i'm talking about.

No i know about the dave B rings, i'm talking about the middle part of the defi gauges that holds the needle. Like someone else mentioned it would be nice if you could match the black of the defi to the silver in our gauges. I was just curious how hard it would be to take the defi gauge apart without ******* it up.

Defi D-Gauge

Now your dash looks like mine ('cept I don't have the Blitz TT)

Vic did install my pod and Defi guage last year (after ProtegeFest), so I'm sure I was his inspiration for the Defi j/k

Vic and Marat did a kickass install...the pod [well-worth the $75 spent] hasn't moved one mm [3M tape rox], the gauge still resets to zero...plus, they introduced me to ostrich burgers!!

btw Mike, take those condoms off the bulbs in your cluster, it makes the the whole cluster look exactly like the Defi.

I'm gunna try the cluster w/o the condoms soon. BTW, are those rubbers there only for color or do they protect from the heat?
