sometimes when i'd try to unlock my car the remote does not work.. I figured it's just the battery probably needing to be changed.. so i end up just using the key.

but today as i got into my car using the key, i try to start the vehicle.. it doesn't respond ; so i went to place the key on the start button for a few seconds but right as soon as i did it started.

at this point im a bit suspicious, but start driving home.. as i'm driving and i attempt to use the hands free system the lady's voice is studdery and when the phone rings it is studdery as well it is not the speakers because the radio works just fine.

Should i try resetting the system? unplug the battery? or is there a fuse i can pull?

Not sure about your bluetooth issues, but change the fob battery ASAP. My wife's lasted one year from purchase and she didn't know about holding the fob to the start button.

This is kind of interesting because Im having the same issue with the remote but only during the morning. It happens with both fobs, the car would not unlock with the remote but after I unlock the car with the physical key the fob starts working and it continues to do so throughout the day. The other day the same thing happened and the fob would not work after I unlocked the car with the key and the car would not recognize it but after I pressed the door unlock button on the door the fob started working again and the car started to recognize the fob. Dont know if this is due to the cold weather since the issue started once it got cold and it only happens in the morning.

I have a 2013 Touring.

About your fob it could be the battery as that is the issue I also had. Mine lasted for a good 18 months before I gave in and replaced the battery on the fob. About the bluetoot; try resetting from within the setup of the Bluetooth.

Always start with the basics... replace the fob batteries, delete the Bluetooth pairing on both our phone and headunit. Re pair the phone (update phone first if there are any OS updates)... then try...
