i bought the ek for 8k. its a great car! as for the lime green mugen valve cover, i've never had that, mine has always been the ctr style cover, the red valve cover.

ghost, nothing is wrong with my jasma header, i just wouldnt mind an ANR header or a Hytech header, but im not rich so those are out of the question. i wouldnt mind a better header then what i have, just to get me up and over 170-180whp.

Yeah Jasma's werent meant to produce power they were meant to stay under strict japanese automotive law's they made a little power but not much. i just got it because its JDM and rare i would honestly get something else and only sport that one for shows but i couldnt afford two at the time. you can prolly pick up a DC 4-1 (i know its DC) for like 200 bucks or less and itll make a considerable amount of power comparable prolly like 5 more wheel horse power maybe a few more foot punds as well.

my ecu has a chip, a hondata tuned chip.

the blue hondata box, is external which acts as a interface box, and i can datalog with a laptop through a serial cable.

Man, the look of your car makes me wanna give up my MSP right now lol. Well maybe not because I love the MSP but I want a hatch really bad. Gold looks amazing on the car, not to mention that your making more hp then me. I would love to rev that high, damn I need to pick up one. lol.

There is a prick at my apartment complex that has a white 97 EK...white TE-37's, mugen header, front lip, cf hood, and some C-West skirts and a little lip wing, kinda like the p5's, on the back...He bought the car with 175,000 miles on it from a guy in town that drives to harrisburg everyday for work...for like 3 grand...and poored everything into it...

It now has a B18C1 I think (if that is the GS-R engine, not the ITR which I know is C5)...and he is planning on boosting it, which I say is totally uncool...But that thing is nice...

Only reason I bring it up is just that your color, and white, look absolutely amazing...I don't care for them in red, blue, or black...and don't think I have ever seen one...But your wheels with that champaigne paint is terrific...

and please stop posting pics of it, and talking about it, and otherwise reminding me that EK's exist...I love my P5, but everyone knows its not the best home for a fan of engine's that rev...I am doing my best with it, but I still want a smaller engine'd car as a project stripper...

I never hated Honda engines really, at least the DOHC's...but never cared for their brakes, rear suspension design, and interiors...at least as far as Civics...Take a K20(whatever letters equal the DC-5 ITR engine...still C5?) and a P5...I would be happier than anyone...and it would never see an ounce of boost...that sounds like a project to me...
