(rockon) WUSSUP!!! My baby is finally home again...with new tail lights and a new rear bumper...pic is pretty dark...i'll try take one during day time!!!
answering both questions at once....the rear bumper came from Hong Kong....the repair guy had connections...i think it was around $500 plus install...u can find the kit at www.havenhk.com i only got the rear done so far...sorry...but the site is in chinese..so just browse around...u will find it eventually!!! the lights were bought locally...in sydney...they are $390 a pair...and come in 2 colors...1 with chrome base...and 1 with black base...
i dont think there's any fitting issues if it's done properly...it's actually a skirt....that's glued onto the rear bumper...without gluing...it'll look bad...i was told..
BigStarS - Thanks mate, i got my grill in Macau unpainted for about $32AUD
but then had it painted in HK for about $86AUD so all up around $118.
I rang up the shop u got urs from, they gave me a price of $160 for the same grill.
Andrew - Nah different one, but definitely worth a look when i goto HK next
bastards~~i'm so gona raid the shops in HK when i go...i'm gona get the grill and eyelids!! i'll let u guys know when i'm going and drop me a line if ur interested as well...
Just a word of warning.
It was a royal pain getting the grill on the plane at HK airport!!
When i was checking in at the qantas counter, they were like, im sorry u cant take that as carry on luggage as its too long. Im like WTF!i cant put it with my big bags it'll get crushed. So they had to check with the manager, in the end they let me take it on board.
i have just been talking to the guys from havenhk.com they said the rear apron is 1600 HK dollars, the sideskirts are 1600 and wing is 1600. that is cheap as. it is equivelant to 287 aussie dollars and in total will be about 500 for each piece after shipping. just like bigstar said. i just sent them another email finding out whether that is 1600 per skirt or 1600 for both because that sounds so fckn cheap. will keep you updated.
I believe corksport sells similar lights(made for painting) that are DOT approved....not sure how much though. That looks very sick mate, like, wowzas. Nice work, on the very tasteful look IMO.
