Ok, Brian, sit back and take a deep breath. You're just discouraged right now. You've done alot to the car and it isn't propelling you to the top of the pack. Well, sure, that happens to all of us. See my results from Atwater this year... 2 seconds behind the leader.
My advice: Go back to your best setup and just concentrate on getting seat time. Stop fiddling with the car and just get tuned into the way it is now. Learn how the car reacts to your inputs and practice keeping the car right on the edge of adhesion 100% of the time. Talk with John Tak about how the car feels to him and what he's doing in various elements compared to what you're doing. Relax and enjoy the ride. Take pleasure in getting better and having fun and getting to hang out with alot of other car nuts. Repeat: have fun with it; smile; enjoy it. Don't beat yourself up.
I'll be at Nationals for the first time this year. Got a ride in John Ma's new 07 Mini S. Come on over and swap car stories. Should be fun!
