basically what hughes showed, i flip a switch and it runs an open downpipe, which only makes a difference in performance around 12psi or more.

no other exhaust work? you sure it only makes it faster over 12 cause most people notice the power gain even at stock boost. plus the turbo will spool faster making more power more quickly

It depends on the rest of the exhaust. If he has 3" piping all the way back a cutout isn't going to make that much difference, but if he still has stock piping then it should make a difference at any psi.

exactly what jurgs01 said, i got 3" all the way back so it wouldnt make a big difference unless i was boosting higher, but sounds bad ass

I think Thrillride is still selling his. He doesn't have an electric one, but it's a catless midpipe with a manual cut out. Basically you reach under there, remove two bolts and the cover plate comes off.

i appreciate the good comments, but i dont care at all what people say about what i do to my car, im not starting an argument, but w/e i do to my car is my pleasure, there is no doubt i beat my cars, its fun, i got money to make repairs, most importantly lsd..i got the money to do it but gona replace when it breaks, i bought the car do to w/e i wanted to, i beat the hell out of it and dont care, i drive/buy cars to have fun...i dont bad mouth any car manufacters except hyndai and kia, i hate those two companies, but anyway i love mazda, and this is my first one, and its great, im just a car guy, i also have a 96z28 as my summer/project car, i beat the hell out of that too...anyway, everyone is entitled to their own opinions and beliefs
