MS6 oil filter socket

I have already done one oil change on my Speed6, bought an oil filter socket from a local shop that was designed for multiple fitments but it didn't work so I ended up using one of my strap wrenches. So far I have been unable to find one for the right size (74mm, 14 flutes) at any shop. Just wondering where people have been getting theirs from. Thanks.

I know some people get it at their dealer (its a rip like anywhere from 12-24)

I've heard people get it at autozone, I personally got mine from Pepboys. Those are around $4.99 (what i paid and what others have at similar type stores)

I got mine from autozone as well. I actually bought a second plastic oil fitler cap if thats what you would call it.

The oil filter cap was like 9-12 dollars from Mazda. It came with the little brass screw and all the gaskets. Good for test fitting the oil wrench and just incase if I ever need a replacement.

Thanks for the replies. After getting a couple (none of which were exactly right) I have gone ahead and ordered the factory one. Part of my engineer tendencies.

Good to know that the filter cap isn't too expensive. It seems fairly protected but you never know what might get kicked up off the road nowadays.
