teh mad 80s! I guess they're trying to go for that retro Rabbit GTi look :P

unless the FFD is hungry. if he's hungry watch out!! That BFF can get his BFFF (big fat ****** foot) down faster than anyone.... then watch out!!

big foots can't heal and toe :P so "shift lock" while downshifting, lose traction, understeer, and crash into the wall.... race lost! (second)

my thoughts exactly. that's why i hope the sunroof is optional w/o leather

The sunroof is available as a stand alone option. I like the seats an am very impressed with the new GTI.

are you talking about the 3 or the GTI?

FWIW, regarding the pricing....Car and Driver stated that the Caliber SRT-4 will start at $26,000.... so mazda would probably be in keeping with the competition marketing the MS3 at $25,000. Unfortunate, since thats alot, but i see it coming in around there if thats what the competition is doing.

And i'm with most of the other people on here.... an MS3 in spicy orange with some sort of more outrageous (but still tasteful) exterior would be hot. As it is, its okay. I hope it performs really well.

I was talking about the way they'll probably package stuff on the MS3. Sunroof was optional only with leather on the MS6.

I was at my dealer today... spoke with one of the sales guys. He said his rep told him that the ms3 would have 300hp. LOL wtf?

you should have told him it is supposed to be a twin turbo V8 mazda just came out with pushing 650hp.

if the MS6 is doing 274hp at 15.x psi. You think they'll just lower the boost on the MS3?

One thing I will say is that the MSP has no torque steer compared to the Saab 9-3 Viggen. That car will ake you across the freeway if not properly handled.

All that aside, I am thinking that this will be my next car, but I don't plan on getting one until the fall.

LOL is right.... imagine all that torque steer (poke)

LMAO exactly!

I just read the Caliber's going to have 300hp (and cost about $26k) still can't believe dodge and mazda decided to go with a wagon (how many wagons were there in the fast and furious anyway?) I guess this era's coming to a close... sort've sad in a way. guess the fugly wrx and evo will have to carry the torch. oh wait... i heard the civic si will be available in sedan form. i saw a picture of it... not feelin it at.

dammit, everyone knows that "real" sporty cars come in sedan form...a hatch is utterly inappropriate for a sporty car. ;)

How much is the current SRT-4...C&D's estimates seem quite high...I think the starting price will be lower for the MS3...Maybe around 22-23k but will quickly increase via added options.
