Ok, just an update:
Right after my last post my car was backed into. (which worked out well 'cause I got a new door / fender out of the deal).
I got the car back and I am meeting up with Pete this weekend.
I will let everyone know how it goes. I believe that he is going to download all of the info from the ecu, work with it for a while, and then we will get back together for some testing.

I do have a stock sedan (LX) ecu that he could barrow. But I'll have to have it back.

Is this similar to the Superchips that are available for most of the V8 engines? My dad has one for his F350 and its great.

Same Idea, He can tune it for more power if you want to run premium fuel, or can just tune it to run better on regular. Or he can tune it for the turbo kit that you are planning...

Just an update: Met with Pete and he hooked up to the car and got all of the software off of it. He is going to work on it for a week or 2 and then we will get back together. He is still looking to get together with someone who owns a N/A car.
