i had the front end done awhile ago, from a wreck prior

1600.00 for all the parts, paint, and installation of the side skirts. This also includes the 03.5 front air dam that I decided not to put on. I will be selling that but I just haven't had the chance to take any pictures of that.

The fogs are in. They are the Pilot PL-362W.

Yup, very easy to do. The rear was two screws, two plastic push pins and double sided tape. The front wheel splash covers and front bumper were actually easier than it looks.

Yup. I did not want to cut the original bumper. It's very easy to change also. Just 4-bolts. Had to move, not remove, the windshield washer reservoir to get to one side but it wasn't hard at all.

Did you change your bumper reinforcement???

That's the 03.5 front air dam. It goes on top of my bumper. I bought that too but decided not to put on. I actually still have it painted and all. I just haven't had the chance to post a for sale thread.

Yeah but your front bumper doesnt look like the real 2003 Mazda speeds the bottom doesnt stick out as much as my pic thingy in the upper left! Arent u also supposed to get some styrofoam thing to put behind it?

its not a 03. 03's only came in orange and black.

d'oh! my friends got me the oem fog lights for my bday - one problem, when i went to test fit, the harness on foglights had a female connector, and the harness to plug into on the car is also female! with out splicing the wires, what are my alternatives? i searched for the jumper harness w/ the part number from the 1st post and it looks like a $40 part that replaces the harness on both ends of the bumper.

by the way, im a firm believer that splicing and foosball is the devil so any suggestions would be helpful. thanks.

ps. what size bolts do i need to mount these fogs to the bumper?

late post but i have it done right now, i have bc2 sideskirts(painted and ready to be installed) so i am not following the conversion totally since i like to be diffrent but i have had the car like this for 6 mths with the front end only and i have had nothing but compliments......

Well i got it from MAZDA!!!!! isnt' there only 1 difference between the 3.5 and 03....

one difference being the front lip, the rear spoiler, the rear valance, the seats, the stitching, the shift knob, the pedals, the wheels, the flash, the bushings, no more spicy orange or black mica but rather blue/yellow/titanium/sunlight silver paint options.............(smash)

Actually my pic isnt the 03.5.... It's the 2003 Mazdaspeed Protege, and the front just looks different then yours why???

your posts make no sense. the 03's and 03.5's are very different. the picture in your avatar (in mine is the pillsbury doughboy) is an 03.5 mazda speed protege. the picture in my signature is what the front end on the 03 mazdaspeeds and 01 mp3's looked like.

so, to clarify. the picture in your avatar.
1) is that an actual picture from an actual mazdaspeed?
if yes, it is an 03.5 if no, it could be anything with the 03.5 air dam/lip/front spoiler
2) you have an 03 lx you want to do with the msp skirts and stuff right?
if yes, why does this matter?

^ except that the pic in his avatar has to be a 3.5 MSP because its Titanium. Unless that person is the first one to do a titanium respray on a sedan... hahahahahahahhahaa yeah right.......

but yeah. After wasting countless hours of the last two years on this site.. I'd hope that I knew some trivia about these cars...And yes there are many people on this site that know the differences between the 3.5's and 03s... The styles are pure preference; I honestly hate the 3.5 wing and yellow stitching.

Yeh I knew the pic in the avatar wasnt his he just said he was getting some stuff done. I love the 3.5 all around I was dumb for not getting one but i was thinkin of a daily driver with reliability at the time. Not that the msp isnt reliable but I just wasnt thinkin of speed and the es style suited me fine then.

Duh that's not my car why else would i be asking for the part numbers for the conversion, i want to convert it to the 03.5, because i think it looks totally better in the front and all the way around, but the inside on the 03 looks 10 times better..... and my lx is white....

then why were you trying to convince us that it was an 03? we all knew it wasnt...
