Mitsu fmic

I have a chance to buy a mitsu fmic, just the core and was woundering where I should buy the piping for it? I looked on eBay and they have fmic piping for the speed3, should I go and buy the eBay piping? And one more question, what about mounting it is the any mounting kits around?

Protege garage sells custom piping for the speed 3 FMIC's. I wouldn't get a mitsu fmic though. You can buy a better sized core for cheap from many places. Just my opinion.

I would look at protege garage. They have the piping kits and I have a good reputation and you can get a hold of Ken pretty easy on the forum.

Ok well I'd you have any links to any fmic please post em, the only reason I was goin to buy the mitsu is because he's selling it to me for $100 is that a good price for just the core?

its actually a mishimoto intercooler sorry

Im not familiar with mishimoto . . . but you need to make sure its the appropriate size / dimensions. So that it fits properly and isn't too big to hinder performance. Then you have to find a piping kit.

Construction: Bar/Plate

Core Size: 20.5" x 6.25" x 2.25"

Max. Recommended PSI: 22psi
Fin Pitch: 15 Fins/Inch
Tank Wall Thickness: 5mm
Thread Size: M8-6H
Six Threaded Universal Mounting Points

That's the specs from misimoto site.

our piping kit would work fine with that core if the dimensions are accurate

If I'm not mistaken, you can buy a brand new Mishimoto IC core on eBay for around $120-$130... But I could be retarded and remembering something I never saw. lol!!
