Midnight Street Racing For PS2?

ok i have the cd no manual how the hell do you play this game? i have the basic buttons and what they do but whats the point of the game.... in both career and arcade mode whats the point? anyone got cheat codes?? are suppose to drive around looking to race people are meet at a specific spot??? anyone who helps thanks....

I've got the game but haven't played it yet... been too much into GT3!! But, I can/will bust out the manual when I get home and see if I can figure it out. I started playing when I got it, but I didn't have the memory card yet (that's because I had just got it for my b-day but wasn't supplied with the memory card), but once I got the MC I immediately started GT3. So, I'll give it a whirl and see if I can figure it out. I will admit though when I was playing without the MC I couldn't figure it out then! So, we'll see and I'll let you know!!

I haven't played it in a while but if i remember correctly all you do is find the right person to race and try to win his/her car.

Your objective is to roam the streets looking for races. Any car you can race will be indicated by an arrow above it or whatever. After racing 20-30 cars, I still haven't figured out how to get to new cities or if you just keep going and going. Haven't played in a while either, lost it's appeal to GT3.:)

Well, gave it a try last night and all I could figure out was what these other guys said. Seems to me you just drive around looking for races to win other cars. Ehh, still can't stop playing GT3 though, so I'll stick with that!!

I played the game and got bored with it...you should try Need for Speed Hot Pursuit...now that game is badass

You first have to meet people by driving around the city and not really beating them, but hanging with them for a certain amount of time. Whether or not you hang with them well is indicated by the color of the arrow above the other car. After you hang with them for a while, you will be given thier phone number. Calling this number will open up actual races for you to drive in. You must take first in these races to advance. Eventually, you will get everyone's phone number, clean them out of pink slips and race the final opponent. London is opened for you after New York is completed in this manner.

Hope this helps. Its a good game, especially for a first gen PS2 title, but it loses depth after a time. The only reason I'll still play is to play "tag" between myself and another player's car. BAM!
