Help Natey pick out some new wheels for his Miata!

Here's the rules: They've gotta be 15s or 16s X 7 or 7.5 which weigh less than my stockies, which are about 13lbs.

The lug-pattern on my(15X6) stock wheels is 4X100 and the offset is +40...The same as a Honda Civic.

Please include a link(and maybe a pic) to the ones you suggest. Thanks! (rockon)

Both nice wheels. :) Boostin', I'm not sure if those are just random pics from the internet or what, but steer clear of Serious Auto. The guy who owns it is not too trustworthy. He (and Serious Auto) are in my town and I got roasted by him a couple of years ago on a KartBoy shifter.

SSR Competitions. Only 9 pounds for a 15X7, but $299 a wheel? I could probably find some nice used TE37's for that.

(uhm) I dunno. I may be one of the minority, but I think anything over 16" on a Miata looks too big.

Plus those wheels are like 16lbs apiece.

5Zigen FN-O1R (forged)
15 x 7, +42 mm, 4 x 100, 4.9 Kg (10.8 lbs)
16 x 7, +42 mm, 4 x 100, 5.4 Kg (11.9 lbs)

Whoa! Thanks for the tip.

I agree with you on rim size too.
Anything bigger than a 16 just does not look right.

anything like that RH design or the rota subzero looks nice on miatas, i also like nice simple 5spoke patterns on miatas...no mesh wheels.

the fno1R that were posted above would look nice in gunmetal on your car.

15x7 panasports but they weigh like 14lbs though. A bronze Rota C8s will look nice too and believe theyre less than 12lbs. But who cares about the weight of the Panasport, they look cool plus you already have that extra forced air hp to push it now... :)

The Enkei RPF-1's, if you can find them, are 9.3 lbs, and available in two offsets, +37 or +41mm, but about $220 a pop. The Rota Slipstreams are hard to find in 15 X 7, mostly they are 15 x 6.5 everywhere you look. SSR Competitions are available in a 15 x 7.5, but very pricey. For the money the Kosei K1 TS 15 x 7 is hard to beat at 10.6 lbs and +38 offset. And two valve stems per wheel for running nitrogen if you prefer. They do look hard to clean though. My 2 cents.
