so i just read AGR#7's profile, and while he might be the oldest guy on the site... he might be the coolest guy ever. he loves his msp(not a car marketed towards older people), brews and drinks beer like a college kid, like to race remote control cars and loves to play grantursimo 3 on play station 2. i think someone is a little kid inside

Thanks Dan! 'much appreciate the kind comments. It's all about enjoying life, and having fun. The radio control hobby, however, all but ended (at least for now), my motorsport collection hobby. But; still a good investment, and great to look at, and enjoy.

Here's a link to some of it.....mostly Formula 1, classic sports cars, Andretti (of course). Cobras (the real ones), and others.

are these models you have built or bought?

All of my collection is diecast. Many are limited/numbered editions, and some are hand signed pieces. The detail on most of the 1:18 scale models is incredible, with very accurate engine, cockpit, undercarriage, etc... The brands are: Exoto, GMP, Minichamps, CMC, and others. About $6,000 invested, including my books. The Daytona Cobra Coupes book is very rare. It has '43' signatures by the crew and the drivers that made that car the 1965 World Manufacturer's Champion. Only 400 copies exist. Each are also hand numbered. I have sold them on eBay for as much as $600 a copy, and shipped them all over the world. Interesting note: 2 of the gentleman that signed the book have since passed: John Ohlsen (one of the original Cobra mechanics), and Maurice Trintignant (French driver of the Daytona Coupe, and F1 driver).
