I happened across this set of 18x8.5 +48 5zigen GN+Proracer's. thinking of wrapping them with 215/45/18 Nitto Neogen's?

Those wheels and that color will look awesome on your white 5. With that wheel fitment you may need to do a little fender massaging but shouldn't be too bad. I'm running the neo gens and I like them as a summer performance tire. In early September I'll be doing a track day so will see how well they hold up to that.

Here is my new set up for now-

18 x 8.5 +48 5sigen Pro racer GN+'s
215/40/18 Nitto Neo Gen's

my 5

Lowered on HR springs, MSR 18x8 wheels, 225/50/18. Had to roll rear fenders. Shaved off rubber on the first bump.

Bubuski,
Thanks, Didn't have to roll the fenders no rubbing. Rolling six dudes deep, all 200+ still no rubbing. I'm sitting on the Megan springs for the 5...! I love the set up...!

am new to forums so forgive me if I am doing things wrong. I just bought a 2015 Mazda 5 GT. It is Zeal red with white leather and a sun roof. I love the car but I don't like the skinny little tires. They should outlaw any series tire below a 60, I think. I am seriously thinking of putting on 215 -65/R17 tires to get a little more height and make the car look better. That would increase the tire diameter by 3" and make them a little wider. I do not think there would be a clearance problem just by quick glance. Would have to check this out more thoroughly first. Also this would make the speedometer 6 mph off. Discount tires has an awesome tire and wheel calculator page that tells you all the dimensions when changing tires sizes from to "to". It says I would be going 66 mph when speedo says 60. So Has anyone else done such changes and is wise or not too smart? Thanks, John in Las Vegas.
