Mazda5: Prices paid and related questions

Thank you very much. That's what I figured that it was over msrp. It is going back today. Yes they let me take it home so that my gf could check it out since she couldn't be there and they wanted to make sales and wanted me not to loose the 1000 incentive. Btw the prices are in USD. I know there are some canadian folks on here. Thank you again.

For what it's worth, that $1,000 incentive has been continued by Mazda so it's good through the end of March, so once you return the car there is plenty of time to shop around and I recommend getting a price via email before stepping foot in the dealer's doors (be sure that the prices include destination and doc fees). Aside from the price paid, how do you and the girlfriend like the car?

Oh. Thanx for the info on the incentive. We actually like the car. A white gt to me is beautiful. All it needs is tinted windows and we will be set. We have three little girls and needed the room and this is a great step from a 4 door hyundai accent and trying to fit three little ones in the back cramped.

Canadian Prices

Ditto! I'm in Saskatchewan, Canada and looking at purchasing a 2009 Mazda 5 GT manual with leather package. What does a Mazda 5 sell for here? I'd like to know what kind of offer to make.

Hello everyone,

I am in Ontario Canada. Been looking around to get the best deal on a mazda 5 to accomodate our family of 4. We have made up our mind on the mazda 5 GT with no additions.

For people in Ontario, what is the best price I can get for a 2009 or 2008 left from last year?

Also can someone pls list the add-ons that we can easily add to the car ourselves once we buy it that are cheaper than the dealer price? We are thinking of racks for the roof, bike racks, lights etc

What are your recommendations and manufacturers/sites to look at

cheers

Have you test driven with the tinted windows? I almost didn't buy the Mazda5 b/c the first time I test drove, the car had tinted windows and, it was so dark inside I felt my visibility was really reduced. Later I drove a car without the tint and it was miraculously different. I agree that you overpaid. I *strongly* recommend going to the consumer reports web site b/c they will show you current rebates and and invoice prices so that you're working from that and not the MSRP. Good luck. We just bought our Mazda5 this week. AT Sport with a few options (mirror compass, int.cargo cover, floor mats, door guards), roughly $17,050 + tax/title/license.

Howdy everyone... I checked out every thread on here prior to buying my new 5, the information was invaluable!

Landed a Sport with a 5spd in Copper Red Mica last night. OEM fogs are going to be installed after the parts arrive... Couldn't find one anywhere near us that had the fogs installed at the factory (at least none where the fogs were the ONLY option), and talked them into throwing in a cargo cover at dealer cost.

Paid $15,200 plus $500 worth of tax/title/tag and a documentation fee.

No I havent driven a tinted model.

I ended up taking back the mazda 5 and we went to another dealership. We ended up leaving at 9:30 pm with a 2009 Mazda5 white GT for $20500 + TTL. The dealer even through in window tint. Hopefully it really isnt bad with the tint. We are driving it right now but with no tint. Thanks everyone for your help.(hi)

Ive got 15% at back and 35%on front windows. Looks and drives fine with me even at nights.

I have 15% back and 25% front. The difference is really striking. Now I'm asking myself why I waited so long. $160 installed.

If anyone needs a recommended for a good tint installer in Los Angeles, PM me. I'm pretty happy and have absolutely no association with them.

Well I got the tint today and I see nothing wrong with the tint. It looks awesome. It's not limo tint but it is still dark that you cannot see in but visibility is not impaired looking out. I was surprised it was that dark from the sample they show you at the tint place. I really love how it looks on a white mazda 5.
