mazda replacing my muffler

went to mazda and they are replacing the muffler... not sure what they are replacing it tho so everyone pray with me. Also ordered my CAI from my local shop today so that'll be on tomorrow! hurray for me

So you 03.5 guys are getting your mufflers replaced with the 03 version? Mine is a tad cracked, but I kinda like the oval tip. Also, have any of you that got it replaced have a custom pipe from the midpipe to the axle? I wonder if they with b**** about that.

they might b****, but i dont think they would deny you, **** em. as far as i know i am getting the aftermarket Mazdaspeed muffler, hell i even gave them the part # on it.

Morande does not want to order me a muffler until they see the car...yea whatever. I told them give a break, it's not like I'm asking for a new AC compressure cause my AC isn't cold. I said this is cut and dry, it's cracked. I think he gave in a bit and he gave me his email address and I sent him 2 photos. We will see what happends.

i had the mazdaspeed exhaust on my P5 when i traded it for the mazdaspeed I should have asked them to put that on my mazdaspeed

my guy just looked at the muffler tip and was like "well s*** haven't seen that before, better order you a new tip." he didn't even look under my car and I have my injen stickers on the side of the car or whatnot so he at least knows I have one mod.

I just found out that mine cracked as well... looks like Mazda should have paid a tiny more for their 03.5 muffler 'cause now replacing a big load of them under warranty will cost them much more !!!

By the way, why some people are getting the aftermarket mazdaspeed muffler and other the 03's model !? In my case I want the aftermarket one, I had one on my old Proteg and it is the best... should I bring the part # !!!?

I'm sure the Racing Beat is cheaper
