Yea Ive def been planning on the supertones, possibly this summer. How was the wiring, difficult?

I wouldn't say so. Pretty self explanatory from the directions Hella provides. Horns get a ground & a power. Power goes into the provided relay. Relay has 4 connects:
1. Power to horns
2. Power from battery
3. Ground to Battery
4. Signal from harness/oem horn

And done. ;)

Took me around an hour to measure/cut/solder the wires, mount the horns and relay and hook up all the connections. Do u have ne experience with wiring or audio?

Yea Im pretty good with wiring, etc ... only thing is I dont have access to a soldering gun right now, might use posi-taps or something similar. Knowing that hella provides directions is a plus!! I thought they didnt come with any.

I can link you an install how-to for a Protege, also. Soldering is better, but using twist connects and such can work well too. Just not quite as good of a connection and they don't last as long. (shrug)

Yea I have been using posi-taps (posi-products.com), they seem to be much more secure than twist connects. And I think you already sent me the link via another thread the other day lol

they do, but i think that the bumper is bigger (wait... it's a 3, of course it's bigger; bunch of fatties! lol) and covers up the horn, so it's a lot harder to get to with out taking it off...

Fair enough. Bumper couldn't take more than 15 min to get off. Hell I take my bumper off in less than 5. Granted I've had it off a few times, to say the least. ;)
