just google HDR (High Dynamic Range)
in a nutshell you take a range of exposures (dark, lighter, light, lighter, lightest). then the software combines them to give you tones you couldnt ordinarily get with a single picture.

think the key word there is sofware. I'm gonna see if I can reproduce it with my own software. So in the end its jus multiple pics with different transperancies layered together. Its not a single shot. I gothcha now. Thanks
