I cannot fine any performance stats for Mazda mx-6, 4c, 1997 god.
If u know any websites, can u replay and help one pour guy ....

I believe the 2nd generation I4 puts down 118hp and 98hp to the wheels.

Yup. I wouldn't bother with the 2.0L I4. Get either the LS with 2.5L V6 164hp & 160 ft/lb or a 1st generation GT turbo like mine with 2.2L 145hp & 190ft/lb.

my boyfriend has a 13sec 1st gen mx6....i like would prefer a 1st gen over a 2nd but its all preferance.....

The letter is the configuration of the pistons and the # is the number of pistons it has. Exp. I4 = Inline 4 cylinder.

I still have my 93 MX-6 LS V-6. I really like it. I have had it the longest of any car I have owned. It still runs well, and still gets in the mid-20's for gas mileage. I actually had someone ask me if it was a new model from Mazda.
