i was wondering.. would those fit on our proteges? because i saw soem at the junk yard.. and they look exactly like our rims.. and i like our 5spoke design.. the only difference is the diameter.... i forgot to look at the back for the specs.. but if anyone would know whether the offset and bolt patterns are the same that would be nice =) thanks

yeah they are exactly the same rims only 17", I was thinking of getting some off the Millenia S (polished) back a while and they turned out to be the same everything - so if you want 17"s... get some millenias. Mazda stock rims are light too so they'll be about as heavy as anyone else's Konigs.

You're in luck. My wife happens to have a Millenia. The bolt pattern is the same.

I can't tell about the offset though. Millenias (Hers atleast) has two-piston front calipers that are much bigger than the ones on my P5.

well it should be easy enough for you to find out...jack them up...take off both wheels on one side of your p-5 and one of hers.....then test fit them. piece of cake.

are the millenia wheels 17 X 7's???

theres a picture of an mp3 floating around with the 17" millenia rims on it, so im thinking if they fit good on it why wouldnt they work on your protege5?

ps ill try to find the pic that supports this

if they are fitting on the MP3, then they SHOULD fit the P-5 just fine.

17" Wheels

The MPV ES also has 17" wheels with a slightly different 5-spoke design. Perhaps these might fit also? Though you're more likely to find take-off Millennia rims than MPV wheels...

I recently got a set of take-off 2002 Miata 15" alloys and replaced the 14" rims on my 1991 Miata. They fit perfectly and look great (IMHO). The guy who bought the '02 Miata put 17"s on his new car.

Here is a picture of the wheels next to each other. The new one wheel/tire combo actually has the same circumference as the original, but the angle of the picture makes it look a lot bigger.
