Mazda Experts: BP Engine Swap

So we know the familiia wagon s in japan is 6 cylinder AWD...right?

Would it be possible to swap a BP from a 323 GTR into the new MP3/MP5?

I know anything is possible with money, but I am talking about....position of engine mounts/tranny mounts etc....

Is there a FWD Turbo BP engine that would be a better choice?

NOT EVEN CLOSE! the engine in the sport20 wagon is a 2.0 liter four with roughly 160 US hp. AWD is an 'option'

anything is possible. i think i remember corksport doing this swap for thier drag protege and they needed to do a bit of work to get it in right.

So has anyone seen SPECIFICS on the mazdaspeed kit?

From what I have learned, its basically what I have already T-25 turbo etc.

Does anyone know if Mazdaspeed will be remapping the ECU for the Turbo MP3s, or just using an FMU or something like that?

You have a turbo in your car now? how fast? how much HP?

Anyway, I'm sure mazda will tune the ECU, but it's basically gonna be our engine w/ a turbo.

The BPT came in two versions the one in the GTR and the one in the GTX. The GTX BPT is one of the strongest 4 cylinder turbo motors made to date. As for putting them in a BJ chassis. Good luck corksport is the only ones that have completed this swap I know of for their drag protege this included stand alone engine managment, custom axles, custom motor mounts, custom wiring harness...you know it its custom.
