2002 Protege 5
Hi All. Finally we have started out site.

http://www.mazdaenthusiast.com

Within the next year we are hoping to have a supercharger kit for the Protege 5, as well as within the next couple of months be adding products such as B&M Short Shifters, ZEX Nitrous, and Auto Meters.

We hope you enjoy our site.

We also would appreciate any feedback - positive or negative, as long as it is contructive ;)

Please feel free to give us input on what brand you would like to see, as well as any changes to the site you think may be beneficial in order to serve you better.

Thans again for your interest... we hope to serve you as best as possible!

the register.com banner is kinda ghetto. doesnt give a very proffessional look to the site.

nice to see more people offering stuff for us.

That's some pretty ugly looking HTML on the main page. That JavaScript seems completely unnecessary and it gives me a runtime error. The HTML is also needlessly complicated. No break spaces in otherwise empty paragraphs? Try breaks instead.

Oh, I see what the problem is. That's what using FrontPage gets you. It's rather amateurish in my opinion.

I second the opinion on the register.com banner, too.

Gyre.. what do you find so ugly? Yes I know the banner has to go.... in time it will..... as for the error...I will fix that once I get back to working on it.I'm also going to work on the font. I have noticed that it appears to be very different on many machines, as well as the spacing.

Sorry if it does not look very professional, but that it not my biggest concern right now. Thanks for the inputs though.

I was reading the actual HTML and find it ugly. You don't see the blank paragraphs because ... they're blank.

I was saying seeing this in your HTML looks stupid:
<p>&nbsp;</p>

You could just put:
<br>

Things like that. After noticing that I looked at the meta tags and it says FrontPage 5.0. After that, I wasn't going to look any further.

Hi -

There's a definite need for a 1 stop shop with great prices for all the easy-to-do / "normal" P5 items, like:

- Sparco wire set
- NGK Iridium plugs
- Short shift kit (low cost ;-)
- Injen CAI
- K&N drop-in
- Mobile 1 oil filters (highest ratings by various sites)
- Redline MTL & Water Wetter
- Assorted body dandruff (decals)

I wish you luck - and hope that you can get enough volume going that we can all get some rock-bottom prices on this stuff (and you still make some money ;-)

And as far as the site, hey if the banner means lower parts prices because of banner revenue - keep it! Don't worry about trying to make a "WOW - Impressive" site - keep it simple and most of all functional and user friendly. And please don't go to a Flash site - argghhhh - I hate those things! :-)

I'm with donnw - I wish you luck and will make sure to visit your site when I need to do shopping.

Please keep it simple (don't use popups if possible) and keep it viewable on 1024x768.

And please make sure to test your pages with Netscape/Communicator and also for Macintosh versions of IE and Netscape (I haven't tried looking at your pages from a Mac yet). So many web developers think Microsloth Windoze and Internet Explorer rule but they don't realize that people like me that use Macs will not order from websites that aren't web-friendly - they will lose Macintosh users as customers.

Oh yes, and BTW - the K&N CAI that routes down thru the fenderwell hole by the washer fluid bottle looks to be a nice item too! ;-)

Maybe some Tokico shocks (Illuminas?) and mild lowering springs too... :-b...

THanks for the info guys.... I appreciate all the comments.

As for the PIAA bulbs... the H7's.. working on it. I just want to make clear that this is not my day 'job'. And sorry if using frontpage offends some people.. that is all I am capable of this moment...... if you can read and understand my site, I am happy. I hope my prices are somewhat competitive, but I in no way am trying to take business away from anyone else. I know lots of sites offer the things I do. My first priority is customers... since you are not only my customers, but I am YOURS as well.

If the site has not worked for you, please realize I am continually uploading the pages as I am trying to make it look as good as I can.

Thats all for me, I will keep you posted on more products..

COMNIG UP.... B&M, ZEX and RedLine

By the way, the banner on the bottom is there because my site is just forwareded... I will be removing that shortly. I do not find it nescessary to use a servers when small text and images only use small amounts of disk space.

FrontPage does not offend me. It's just that the results in my experience have been bad. It's not just HTML style points either. It can have compatibility and performance issues as well as being hard to maintain.
