I smell a buy back or a fat check to each of us!
Yeah exactly.I doubt any vehicle will meet the fuel economy numbers at 80mph.

With my Infiniti I can beat the highway sticker when averaging 70-80 mph. (23.75 vs 22).
Of course, those numbers aren*t all that great to begin with. But I*m never lacking passing power either.

Lol.Meh who cares. MPG? I've never given a flying frak about it.
Lol.
Count me in as well. I haven't given a flying hoot about MPG's for 40 plus years.
If MPG's were a factor for me, I wouldn't be driving a Pathfinder for the last 17 years. Horrible on gas. Don't care.
Yeah, by driving under 70 mph on the 80 mph speed zone. My AWD CX-5 definitely is not a good sample out of the assembly line.
The epa sets mileage estimates based on speed of 21city and 55 highway. Your 80 mph speed is irrelevant.
Yes I can drive at 75~80 mph and still meet or beat the highway EPA mpg's on my current VW Passat、BMW 528i、and Honda CR-V.With my Infiniti I can beat the highway sticker when averaging 70-80 mph. (23.75 vs 22).

No, it was not!At least it was Mazda that called it out...unlike VW.
Nikki Asian Review said:TOKYO -- Suzuki Motor, Mazda Motor and Yamaha Motor conducted improper fuel economy and emissions tests on their vehicles in Japan, the Nikkei learned Wednesday.
This is the latest in a growing list of compliance scandals in the country's auto industry, and was confirmed by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport on Thursday
The three companies submitted reports on the findings to the ministry in response to a request for all domestic automakers to investigate compliance procedures after Nissan Motor and Subaru were found to have falsified testing data earlier this year.
My point is, as stated, it was not Mazda that called it out, but it was a Mazdas response to a request by Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport for all Japanese domestic automakers to investigate compliance procedures of conducting improper fuel economy and emissions tests. It's not the same as VW.
