Ok so i took this afternoon to pinpoint my vacuum problem etc... I found out my throttle body wasnt sealing correctly to the mani, so i got some permatex copper gasket maker and applied it.
Long story short, about 1 hour later, she is purring like a kitten again. I just jumped out of the shower, but i am on my way to test it out give impressions right now..
Stay tuned for more.

I like how he totally ignores my pictures requests..azian6er said:ok so i just got back from romping on it. Initial impressions seem good. I can notice more smoothness down low, and up top it seems to open up nicely. It is really hard to gauge acurately the gain without a dyno. I plan on doing that soon.
Overall, seems worth it, but make sure you tighten everything up and take your time. I am chasing another vacuum leak i think, sometimes the idle bounces between 1500 and 2100 rpms after driving for a bit. I think this is most likely vacuum related, but dont know for sure.
Anyone have experience with a bouncing idle?

-just an assumption....but does it matter how much air is in the manifold prior to the mixture and compression? i am pretty sure the flow path is the same but do our cars calculate the amount that is taken in?
