manual transaxle fluid change

what's the recommended time to change?......i'll go to synthetic, but i don't see any recommended interval in the owner's manual.......does that mean it is permanent?

i plan to do mine at 90K miles. it doesn't get exposed to heat stress as engine oil - so the interval is w*a*y longer...

Shifting improves (i have been told) by upgrading the fluid.

eh. For the cost of 3 qts to get a smoother shift - why not?

I changed to synthetic at 30K and now it is good for the life of my car.......150K+........
