Maintenance Help Please!

Alright...So, I just got my Turboxs TBE in the mail yesterday. I'm wondering if any of you have any suggestions as to where I should bring my car to have it installed. I have all the parts, so all I will need to pay for is labor. If you know what the shop charges per hour, that would be great as well.

I would first take a look under the car and see if it's something that you could pull off yourself. Its good experience and should save you some cash....

If that doesn't look to be the case, then I would just call around your local exhaust shops and quote price per hour and see if you can get an out the door quote (in case they do something stupid that takes extra time). I would also ask to see if they have done a TBE before too, cause I wouldn't want some first timer doing that on my car. good luck.

I got under my car last Sunday and checked it out. Its definitely going to be a job and a half seeing as I dont have a lift. I'm going to get under there again this weekend to see what I can do. It would probably take me about 2 days to do myself because I want to make sure I do it correctly...might be worth it to just bring it in somewheres. We'll see though. I'll keep you updated.

Did you ever get the exhaust installed? I noticed you are from Chanhassen. I work at the MGM there next to Cub and I live in Chaska so I'm around the area if you need a hand. I've put on a few exhausts in my lifetime. Not on the MS3 though.

Exhaust is not installed yet...I'm going to give maperformance a call and see if I can work something out with them. I would like to get it on the dyno before and after the install as well. Been a little busy with work, life, well...everything lately. Thank you for the offer though! I'll let you know if I need any help!
