If I want to lower my P5/2003, do I just have to change the springs or is there more to it than that? Also can someone recommend some springs and a web site to order from. thanks.

Sonny, welcome and yes just get some springs and you'll be lowered! I have/recommend Spool Springs @ www.spool-turbo.com you can order them there. They also have H&R's, eibachs and intrax I believe.

Thanks,

How hard is it to replace the springs? I have little to no mech. ability but my brother is a good shade tree mech but I've only see him work on motors. Is this something that would just take time and muscle or should I take my car to the shop.

A shop install is nice and you do need to get and alignment after you put the new springs in, however it is not imparative that a shop do it for you. Just get a spring compressor ($15) and some basic tools and your bro and you should do just fine. It might take a good 5 hours though.
