A light wind caught the driver's door on my 2007 CX9 GT and over extended the door check strap that prevents the door from opening to wide.
I've found basic info regarding the TSB dated August 1, 2007 and issued later in Sept regarding this issue, but have not been able to find the full TSB.
Here is the summary:
62300 STRUCTURE:BODY: DOOR
Bulletin No: 73
Date of Bulletin: 09/12/2007
Summary Description:
FRONT DOOR CHECKER REPLACEMENT. SOME FRONT DOOR CHECKERS COULD PREVENT THE FRONT DOORS FROM OPENING TOO FAR MAY BREAK FROM ABSORBING THE FORCE GENERATED WHEN THE FRONT DOORS ARE OPENED. *KB
Does any one have access to the full version. It would be a great help in a DIY repair.
Thanks in advance.
