looking for pics of Protege/Tein springs.

unless you think your acually gonna be adjusting the struts you dont need adjustable ones, your just gonna set them and never touch them again anyways.

yeah, just as long as your not racing or doing autocross you wont need the adjustable anyways. Im thinking about just getting an oem replacement strut and some lowering springs as well.

what do you guys think about the H&R springs?..i am debating between the Eibach, the H&R,and the Tein????
oh yeah, do i need to buy the camber kit as well with any of those...and if yes, can i use the eibach alig.kit with the H&R,and vice versa???
thank

You don't need a camber kit for our cars when you lower. I have Tein S-Techs on my car right now. However, if I could go back and do it again I would proabably get the Eibach Pro-Kit. The drop is more even front to back and doesn't have that 'raked' look.

thanks for the advice.
i did more research, and i decided to wait another month, and get the tokico hpk247 set. it comes with the struts and the springs.therefore,i will have good struts and the car will be lowered too.

would we need camber plates if we were to buy sprints? with the supposively 2" drop.

From my understanding, Protege's don't need any camber kit unless it is like a 3" drop or something crazy. You should be able to get the car aligned to factory specs after you lower it with the Sprint springs. I am no suspension guru, so maybe some other guys can chime in on this subject.

Im gonna be getting a set of springs soon...do you think I can trust my local shop with my car to do the install? And should I go ahead and get new struts so it wont ride so rough?

im not too impressed with my handling witht the evotion springs. i shud have gone with the skunk2...but anyhow now im thinking about putting teins in the front if not all around. anyone know if they r stiffer than the evotion?
