The won't. They want me to send the unit back for repair. Juan is talking to them to help me get it done as fast as possible, but I am totally SOL.

Do you think you can walk into Sears and tell them your drill broke and it is sitting at home. Will they give you a new drill and let you out the door with your word that you will bring the broken one back. Welcome to the real world. How does a company know what is wrong or not if they do not have it back for testing. Also until they get it back they would not know if it was a build problem or a end user problem.

You must not work for yourself because you have not a clue on how things work.

Yes you work for somebody and not for yourself.

Any fast food place for one comes to mind. Even when you pull your car up to the window you have to pay for your food before they hand it to you.

I am sure you do not let the leave before paying. You do not take their word that they will be back later to pay for it.

I think it'd be super if Juan would reach out like he has to me and others, I know this puts him in a tight spot, but linux is established, not like he is going to benefit from two units, or take one and run.

Making a post like that can make a Vendor or company look bad for no reason.

Juan IS assisting me. He is doing what he can. MPNick is right. I wouldn't expect him to give me a free one. That's a lot of money. I was really shocked when he overnighted me the 1st unit before I paid for it. I sent him the money, and all was good. He know's he can trust me. Remember also that he is not in business by himself. He has other associates. They would take a big risk. They did, and the didn't get screwed. Patrick, thank you for your concern, but all is ok. This discussion is over.

The thing is if Juan had a unit in stock, he would have shipped it to me by now. It's just that he's been waitin on Haltech to give him units.

Did it have anything to do with the software update? I heard that the latest software update isn't the best idea.
