I always like the sale signs where they have good handwriting and it doesn't look like they scrawled it out with their non-dominant hand as they were having a seizure and trying to write with the last of their own blood.

So what I'm trying to say is those injectors look great!
 
Please fill me in on the benefit of the 929 injectors? I are curious, and you usually explain all of your decisions in great detail anyway.
 
Well, I believe the DE/ZE injectors are good for 290cc. Which is good for N/A. A lot of cats go up to the Milly S injectors which are 310 for boost (since the S is supercharged). The 929 came with a 3.0l V6 so these are 330cc and a bit more rare. For boost, the DE/ZE wouldn't cut it. I could've gone with some Milly S but like Wes said yesterday at work, "But more is more!". haha. But I think these will be plenty without topping them out. And a great deal with caps and pigtails for $80 shipped.

Read the previous build thread. You'll understand why I asked. Normally there's at least 3 pages talking about a part before a decision is even made. (stooges)
 
Yeah, I research the s*** out of everything. But then again, in the last build thread I was very new to KL's. I've learned a lot since then so I don't expect to ask sooooo many questions.

ps- Damian, I'm sending my Kartboy SS to your tomorrow. I couldn't get the snap ring off with my bad Harbor Freight snap ring pliers so I'll borrow the ones from work. No huge rush on returning it. Just don't loose it. heh-heh.

I started reading "Maximum Boost". Great book so far and I'm learning a lot. :)
 
My head hurts. Reading the 6 pages on Probetalk about high compression KLZE's (10:1) VS lower compression KLDE's (9.2:1). Seems like most cats go with a KLDE and more psi because they don't want to spring for the stand alone EMU and tuning and is already in their car. But since I'll be buying a new KL regardless, along with the MegaSquirt EMU and will most definitely get it tuned I shouldn't have any trouble with a higher compression KLZE.

Okay, back to the turbo book. I'm only on chapter 6. heh-heh
 
A thing you could do is get thicker head gaskets to lower the compression.

Shave the head, raise the compression!

Get thicker head gaskets, shave the head, don't change the compression!
