A boosted KL is a lot of fun, I have driven a few of them over the years...and doing it in a P5 will be cool and different!...as opposed to ebay turbo kitting a Probe, which is almost the norm now..

Yeah, should be a hoot. It probably won't be running till 2013 but I'm okay with that. And I'm not trying to be "different" with a turbo P5 or anything like that. Heck, the reason I am going turbo is because it's been done a ton of times already with PGT's so there is a lot of info already out there. I'm far from a trend setter. lol

LOL, I just threw a set of HPS pads in the trash. They can't hold up to track days (or W2W). They are great for HSAX or just plain AX. but yeah... I hope the carbotech's X12 (I just switched from hawk blues) are up to slamming some miata front bumper!

Well Anthony (codex) is buying my P5 shell so there won't be a part out. Sorry, guys. He has a slightly smashed P5 so we're going to transfer all the good parts the silver body needs from his to get him a running P5 again. So I'll be pulling the rest of the aftermarket parts I need from the silver P5 and she'll be parked until warmer weather when we do the swap. Glad to see the silver P5 isn't going to the crusher since I love this car but a little "dang it." that I volunteered to do the swap here at the house. Haha! But, the Mazda kharma gods have been very good to me so I like to help out fellow Mazda owners.

I'll make a new build thread for the black P5 pretty soon just to keep things a bit organized.

ps- if anyone is interested in a complete exhaust for a KL P5 swap (headers, midpipe and catback), let me know. I'm selling mine. I figure someone would love a complete bolt in exhaust for the swap. I'll get a FS thread up soon.

His. I saw her blue Protege in the summer and it looked pretty good, especially for $1k. I didn't know it got smashed until she mentioned it yesterday. Still a bummer though.

so is he going to he going to use all of your P5? ...because i am interested in your complete dark interior! ...but i think i'm just unclear on what exactly is happening to your car...
