Yup, what MonkeyAss said. And when you think about it, $1285 shipped for 200chp isn't pricey at all. When you figure a Honda B18C (200chp) cost's $3000 + shipping. I love how cheap KL's are. :)

chp?

and i thought the one you swapped out of the milly was going into the p5 after a rebuild

Crank horse powa.

I debated about rebuilding the DE from the Milly but it's got 176k miles on it and I'm a little intimidated about rebuilding a motor since I'm a newb. So I'll just start fresh with a KLZE, swap all my good fast bits to it, the Milly IM, Colt cams and some DE retainers and see where I'm at.

i mean rebuilding a motor isnt all that tough. ive never personally done it but its obviously been done a number of times. its just an expensive decision to make ya know?

Yeah, I'm just not comfortable in my skills rebuilding a motor right now. Hell, ask Peaches how nervous I was just replacing the head gaskests on the KLDE. I checked everything like 15 times during the process. Maybe after this ZE is in I might build a motor for boost. The P5 will be a never ending project. haha

Haha! Lordy... I'll keep my paws off of it if you want it. It's got a blown head gasket though. And like I said, 176k miles on it.

Okee dokee. I'll put it on your tab. Haha! (Just kidding, gimmie my money, sucka!)

Lol I told you I can't paypal til I give the cash to my pops. I'll probably see him Sunday. But you can have cash if you cone to the auto show....

I'm just teasing, man. It would cost me about $100 in gas for the Milly to make it up to Detroit and back anyway. But thanks. :)

In other modding news, filed my taxes today. $795 return. Looks like I'm ordering a ZE next week. (cabpatch)

Too true. My GSR B18C was only around 190 chp and cost me $3200 in 2006. I've not kept up with prices since I've done that swap.

Yeah...filing mine as soon as I get the form from my mortgage company for the house...looking forward to it, should be a nice return since it is the first year with the house on it and such.

Watching that and JK's nitrous dyno at work FTW

Haha..I get requests for the link to that video all of the time. Didn't even make great power, but it sure sounded cool, lol.

On a side note..I have been talking with a guy on PT who tucked his Mx6 a little while ago..he suggested for what I had planned to do with the wiring and 'tuck' on my car, that I run the harness into the engine bay on the passenger side versus the current driver side setup..it would make things a lot easier to 'tuck' and I would have a lot less wiring to redo if it just came in from the other side where the glove box is (and the fuse box is getting moved to)..just something to think about.
