NTIMD8R: are you sure those are shinkas? They look like regular RX8 wheels, a little too silver to be shinkas.. Might just be the picture..

Shinka on the right, regular on the left:

Chef: that lower lip looks great! Its funny that you would raise it for the summer..

xsists, I apologize for my ignorance...I thought the term shinka was the name for an RX8 rim. I didn't know there are two different types. Am I missing something?! The rims in the pictures look identical to me except for the color (and one doesn't have a centercap (hand) ). The one on the left looks like it's gunmetal and the one on the right looks silver. Mine are silver in color, almost identical in color to my stock 17" rims. They DO look REALLY bright in the picture of my car at the car show!

xmazdax...here's what my car looked like with the RX8 rims (225/40/18 tires) on stock suspension, just before I lowered it...

^ shinka kinda refers to the darker wheels... there was a special edition rx8 called the shinka (special paint and unique color wheels)

Thanks Levi! Well...I guess I have just regular RX8 rims then! WISH I had the shinka's! Would look sweet with the Black Mica 3! Oh well...Thanks for clearing that up! Again, I apologize for my ignorance!

I would answer if this was a thread about such topics...but it is not....because I would not subscribe to such a thread

so is no one going to answer me on which clutch they suggest?

reality is 95% of the people here have upgraded thier clutch once and not done it again so their advice is biased since they only know that clutch compared to stock and not compared to other clutches... my advice is go with what you want and make the best of it haha

How is it silly ...those two shots with the dramatic lighting contrasts would have came out substantially better with a dslr and a little raw image processing in photoshop for tweaking. I basically owned the camera he is using now so I know its strong points and its weaknesses (very noisy in low light and over saturates reds so much it will under saturate the surrounding colors...unless of course you know something logical that makes it silly.

Thanks...part of the reason she looks so purdee is because she was all but destroyed and 90% of the car had paint that was about 3 months old at the time ;-)

While dSLR cameras have better capabilities than a point & shoot, it will not automatically take great pictures for you. That is still user dependent.

Oh and thanks zoom zoom & chef!
