leather seats

I love leather seats. I really wanted leather when I got my car, but it was not an option on the ES. I saw that the p5 you can get leather. I figure the front seats are prob the same, but will the back seats fit my car? I have not seen my p5's. not alot of you guys around here in Indiana.

You can go through an aftermarket company and have them reupholster your interior with a leather of your choice that is what I am doing.

Maybe around $800. There's Mazdaspeed seats on sale at ebay. Only the fronts ($275), but I'm sure you could get the backs too.

Exactly. That is what I did. But Jo have fun getting your seats done since Katzkin doesn't make a premade kit for the DX.

The backs on the p5 are definitely different. You can check my sig and if you have any questions feel free to PM me. I recommend having a set made and installing them yourself as I did if you are interested in the project.

wow, 4 msp front seats in a protege ES, now that sounds pretty odd. I'm not even sure how the trunk area would look behind the seats. Might help with my amps overheating in the summer though.

well.. I think that after seeing the seats in Heathen23's car I will just save soem money and do it that way. his looked very nice. I dont mind paying for something to know I did it right and got the best. saves money and itme in the long run. if it si perfect you dont have to do it over. thanks guys

dude Im not messin with katskins. Im getting mine from classic soft trim.

I had classic soft trim leather in my P5, it was very nice plus you can get custom colors. I had the "mazda" logo on the front seats and red stitching. It was around $ 900.00 with door panels.

gotta love it when you have a warm ass. but I plan on moving to a warm state, so maybe I will skip on them. good idea though.

Hell no! You need to have the correct fabric tools and staplers. No it was $ 900.00 installed.

Sweet. someday you will have to show me pics of the finished product. now the problem is finding someone around this s*** hole town that done anything. let alone good leather work. thanks for the info though.
