Konig Wheels

I'm stuck between some wheels and wanted to know some peoples inputs on Konig. I heard they are great and for 600 for all 4 wheels, that's not a bad price. The 2 I'm looking at are:

Konig Illusion RED
Diameter - 18.0”
Width - 8"
Bolt Pattern - 5-114.3mm
Offset - 45

Konig Zero
Diameter - 18.0”
Width - 8"
Bolt Pattern - 5-114.3mm
Offset - 40

Both are black with red ( I think that fits the Red Speed6 the best ). I have pics of the rims but I wanted to know if anyone could help me out with what they look like on the cars (know anyone with them?).

I was thinking the same thing. I have the Red Speed6 and I could only imagine. I cant find a straight on picture of these for a chance to photoshop them onto my car.

Discount Tire Direct has them for $145 x 4, plus $3 x 4 Valve Stems, and $45 for the wheel installation kit (Lug nuts). Total shipped to you is $637. That isn't bad AT ALL.

I ordered the red illusions last Saturday from Discount Tire. They said they should have them by this friday! Can't wait!

FYI - They will be on a black ms3 with red painted calipers.

I just ordered my red illusions a few minutes ago. Hope they get here quick. Did you get the lugs from Discount too or buy some from elsewhere? I went on ebay and found some moteki black closed end for $46 with free shipping. The ones from Discount Tire looked chrome plated.

Yeah, I just went with Discount's lugs. I'm contemplating getting them PC'd the same red as is on the wheels. I have an entire summer to think about it, though.

Quick update - Got a call from Discount and they have everything, so they'll be going on tonight. I'll post some pics this weekend after my buddy gets back from Vegas. He's the photog guru between the two of us, so they'll atleast be nicer pics.

Oh yeah, I did get to check out the rims last Friday, but the TPMS never arrived so they couldn't mount on my car. They looked WAY nicer than I imagined. The red is pretty sweet, too. It looks almost pearled in a way. I don't know how to describe it, but just know I'm extremely happy about my decision to get the Illusions.

I hope you feel the same way too!

Sweet! These are the first wheels I have seen that I actually wanted. They are unique enough to not be seen all over the place but yet not so crazy that most people would be like WTF. haha

Can't wait to see your pics and also get mine here so I can get them mounted up.

I got my Illusions yesterday, now just waiting on the friggin' lugs I ordered. Would have never guessed that my wheels would get here before the lugs. lol

Those are the rims I have and there is no rubbing, granted, I have an ms3, and do not know if the wheel wells are the same size as your ms6. I'm on stock suspension.

How do you like the looks of them so far? The pic on Discount's website doesn't do them justice at all. I thought they were actually black and red, but they don't have black in them at all. Its like a lava-black or something, infused with a hew of red. I love it! My roomy said when they're rolling (at40mph), it looks like a faint red haze. He said it looks sweet! Can't wait to have my buddy drive my car so I can see what it looks like while rolling! Forecast calls for rain in MN this weekend...hopefuly we can get a good photo-sesh in!

I would assume so. I had the Zero's on the car for a while with no issues. It's an MS3 with stock suspension and the rims are the same 18x8 and 45mm offset.

The pictures definitely do not do them justice on the web at all. They really do have a unique color to them and the red is not as true red as I thought, but that is perfectly fine as its cool. I got the lugs today so I'm getting mine put on during my lunch break tomorrow hopefully. Suppose to be 80+ degrees here tomorrow and Saturday so she'll get new wheels, bath and wax!
