Hey guys, New to the forum and to Mazdas. As you may have noticed by my user name I'm normally a honda guy. The thing Is I have been working for mazda for about 3 months now and I recently came up on a k0422-528 off a blown up cx7. I'm trying to figure out what trim/ar t/stage this thing has. the specs I have I believe are for a ms3/6 79 mm trim 50mm turbine stage 16.5 a/r. Also I am wondering how to tell if this turbo is still good. the motor was not maintained regularly so the engine was sledged up. The turbo spins free and with no restrictions but you can see where there some sledge in the oil inlet. Any info on this turbo in re guard to specifications an how to tell the condition are greatly appreciated. I already know about how fragile the seals are so that is why I am trying to figure out if there's a way to tell if this thing is even worth my time. I want it for a h22 application because it has good low and mid range and it was for the right price. FREE!
