Really? I was going to switch to a mushroom filter for clearance issues when I redo my intake system.

No no, hes talking about a bellmouth and mesh screen. The mushroom filter should work fine as long as it still has the foam element.
Ive researched the mesh directly on the turbo and people have proven that its actually less effecient then an intake with air filter. Something having to do with the surface area of the mesh..

Just ordered new sedan headlights to swap lenses with my current lights. 107 shipped isnt bad lol
Oh and btw, ive been working on a retro, MZ3 projectors, no shrouds. I was going to run shroudless just temp. but i dont mind the way it looks at all

Tuned it a little. hit 6psi for the first time since the oversize valves went in. They flow a TON more air,
im adding way more fuel compared to my old tune.
Still feels slow, prob gonna put the boost controller in and turn it to 10psi and tune for that

oh and a pic...just went out for the first time at night with them, drivers side is spot on, passenger side is pointed way right. gotta fix that when I swap lenses.

MZ3 projectors apparently are huge compared to others

Yes, very large. Doesn't look too bad w/o a shroud, but I don't know if I could stand looking at the back half of the projector.

Well I was going to paint it, but i think ill just leave it silver, I dont mind how it looks now. I actually bought shrouds for them when I bought the clear cut off lenses from TRS, but they were too big so I couldnt use them. I made a molded fiberglass shroud but i dont think im gonna try to use it.

Yea, im gonna ditch the MZ3 projectors, Im just gonna end up using the sedan lights I ordered and retro them with a set of Morimoto Mini's. Thats what I should have done in the first place.
And Ive been doing some tuning, im not sure what the deal is, but I just cant get the AFR's to where they need to be, Ive been adding more and more fuel and seeing very little if any change. I think I may be maxing out the fuel pump, so Im ordering a Deatschwerks fuel pump next friday, and Ill be contacting Cross-over about there fuel line kit, So i can put the perrin rail in at the same time

Are you currently on a stock or walbro 255 fuel pump? Aeromotive makes a fairly inexpensive 300lph in tank fuel pump that I was considering

stock pump, I saw the Aeromotive pump, but I dont think Ill need a 340lph pump, the Deatschwerks is a 300lph and that should be just fine. The aeromotive is a few bucks cheaper though...hmmm

Well I got an email back from X-over, the fuel line kit is $315 (boom03) but thats with the inline 40micron fuel filter. It only comes in red, and since nothing in my bay is red, I emailed back asking for the price without the filter. Ill just buy another brand that comes in black, doesnt have to be Aeromotive. Hopefully its alot cheaper, $315 for some SS hose and fittings is retarded
