Eric, Blacked out headlights looks good on most p5's. My car color is the exceptions. Lighter colors like white/red/yellow/silver look great with black. Black on black is fine. My color is already dark, which looks weird with black. I have light silver wheels and like the light headlights to match. Was thinking about a gunmetal spray kit that sprays over chrome and greys it up a bit.

or color match them? since yours is a dark color might be a nice blend in to it? and wont look as bright?

You mean paint the headlights housing midnight blue? I thought about it a long time ago and it's rice as fuuuu. I don't like it on the corvettes that come that way. I would like to color match my CR3 rad brackets though

^ That's cool. The edges could have been smoother/sanded better. A little choppy. The logo etching wasn't as good as it could have been. Structurally, they are amazing. Fit well, easy install. Just need some aesthetic improvement to be a polished product

Here is Justanothermp5's blacked out headlights..not too bad. Makes the car's overall appearance look dark, this would throw off my wheels.

Black housing, 24 LED fog light for motorcycles. Small enough to hide in my lip, but still cast light. Might wire some of these to the existing fog light harness

Just got myself the same 2002 MP5, same color and everything and looking to do similar mods.

How do you like that carbon fiber antenna? I was looking at that, but was afraid it'd destroy any reception I got for my radio..

It's good. Obviously the signal wont be as strong due to antenna length, that's just science. But I would say my reception is at the worst, 85% of what it was. I can't tell much of a difference. If I had to do the mod again, I would

I see your LED project and I just heard that very soon the gov is going to limit or w/e production of incandescent bulbs. O_O

^ this has been public knowledge for a while. It sucks for my wife. She has petite-mile seizures and it can be triggered by fluorescent bulbs. It has something to do with their flicker/refresh rate. She got screened for it in school and they had to give her a green transparency to put over her books for reading in school. Places like Walmart with lots of florescent lights and reflective floors stress her out and make her head hurt

I know. Same as CRT monitor refresh rates. Cameras have a hard time picking up tvs on film since the FPS and refresh rate are different. Similar scenario with the Frequency of the gas burning and my wife's brain/eyes

Still waiting on packages. I have plastic Bumper brackets, adjustable camber bolts, adjustable endlinks, and more in the mail. Soon to have my front bumper and rear wheels fitting nicely
