Jdm Taillights

It has been two years, since i first got my car. I wanted these right from the start but was always inactive on the forums, and always missed out. One day i got lucky and had a guy locally selling his. Since he was parting out his car. I have a 02 White protege 5 and i just got the jdm tail lights. I am so happy with the way they look on a white protege 5. My father helped me install them, He did not seem that thrilled that i got them, but they where much cheaper than the altezza lights, he has for his yellow protege 5. Sine he only stayed to install the first tail light, I was forced to test the lights by filming my car afterwards so here is the light testing, after installed to see if all lights where working correctly.

This might sound a little bit dumb, but I was really dissapointed at the beginning, my dad just said switch out the bulbs, instead of unplugging the white clipped box, but i realized that there is one more bulb in the jdm tails? how does this work. one for turn, and one for reverse. but for the stock canadian ones, there is only three how does that work?

Dorry if that sounds dumb, but i cant seem to figure it out. What the three on the stock ones do, what the stock one is missing etc. Please help me solve this lol.

I probably sound so dumb, but i do not know much about cars, and im trying to learn.

Good choice with the Jspec sport20 tail lights. I myself have a white p5 with these tail lights. The extra bulb is just to make the light more full when its on.

that 4th bulb is to light the lower part below the clear part when the parking lights/headlights are on. I had these on my p5 when I traded it in. I would use the harness and all 4 bulbs that came with the lights if you got them with the purchase..

Whitepro5, yes I have pics but my p5 is not worth looking at. It's all stock. JDMJNKY's is a beauty though +1

I uninstalled the entire light fixture, and just plugged the jdm ones in, it made it much easier that way. Instead of fiddling around with the wires and all that stuff.
