The 2014 NJ National Tour is over. Car went 1-2 and although I would have liked to be in P1, I got upped by a very skilled and talented driver on day 2.
Car setup for the event:
Front:
Bilstein Autocross kit front shocks with 450# front springs, Ingals camber bolts, Ford Focus fixed camber/caster correction plates, with a total of -3.3 camber, 4.5 caster and 1/8" toe out.
Rear:
Ford Focus SVT KYB AGX rear shocks with custom bump stops(made by me), Tri Point rear brace, Custom (GM) rear swaybar( 1/2" bar stock), stock Bilstein Autocross rear springs.
Racing beat muffler, stock header an mid pipe, Dynotronics Tune,
205/50/15 Rivals n TRM Motorsports 15x7.5 wheels ET42.
Window Weld rear motor mount.
Car is very neutral but needs a touch more front spring and compression/rebound to keep from porpoising in the bumpy stuff. otherwise, I'm really happy with it. Thinking about lengthening the rear bump stops to load up the rear in hard corners hopefully minimizing wheelspin.
