Update on results of Dynotronics tune:
After much reservation, Joe rested my apprehensions, and got me an appointment for the true Remote Assisted Tune..Took bait over 2 hours, but car runs fantastic, midrange is very "fat" now, car accelerates very well from the 1-2 upshift all the way up to around 7300 rpm(reads 7000 on stock tach, but I'm told this is WAY off) so im not sure where it actually is.
Haven't had it on the dyno yet, but a few top gear acceleration runs from 35-70 mph have netted almost a full second decrease and the 0-60 is down almost a half second( a best of 9.38 and high of 9.65) down from 9.82 best and 10.28 high prior to tune)
As soon as Joe and the software guys figure out why my data logger won't stay connected, I'll do some data log runs to get EXACT data, for now a stop watch and reflexes are all I have( plus the GTech app for the phone, but that isn't always quite accurate.
Only thing I would change for the next update is lower the rev limit by 200rpm. You really only need 7200, it's at 7400 now, but when you get it up that high, there's nothing really there and the motor sounds a bit thrashy. That will put you right at 37mph at the bottom of 2nd gear and right around 4000 rpm which is perfect.
