</TD></TR><TR><TD>Tropical Storm Arlene is expected to make landfall near Pensacola or New Orleans late Friday or early Saturday.
</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>Tropical Depression One has been upgraded to Tropical Storm Arlene.

The storm is centered WSW of Grand Cayman with maximum sustained winds at 40 mph. It's expected to move toward the central Gulf of Mexico.

Arlene is expected to make landfall near Pensacola or New Orleans sometime late Friday night or early Saturday.

According to Bay News 9 Meteorologist Mike Clay, most of the significant weather is happening east of the center, bringing a lot of rain across Florida and stormy weather to the Gulf of Mexico waters.

That's good - we could use some more rain (wow) .

I still have my plywood and plylox from last year safely stowed away in the corner of the garage. Just can't wait to put it up again.

lol & imagine that...we should be seeing the affects of it just in time for the weekend...just like every other f*ing storm last year

Judging by last years predictions, the storm should take a right hand turn and barrel right into Florida.

and of course its headed straight for pensacola... theres a large number of houses that still have blue roofs over there.
louisiana, alabama, mississippi and texas need to start taking their share of the hurricanes
