Isreal has done everything they realistically can to attain peace. They just GAVE BACK large chunks of land to the Palastinians that they really shouldn't have had to - but they did anyway simply because they knew it wouldn't make ANY difference anyway. Peace simply isn't attainable anymore without war over there. Isreal will bomb Seria soon, and Seria and Iran have already said that if Isreal bombs Seria that they will retaliate together.

The idea of a "religious state" is a stupid idea over there anyway and it's proven itself that it won't work. Only solution now is essentially WW3 - for Isreal, the US, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Afgahnistan to all combine and wipe out that entire area. All of it makes the Afghan and Iraq wars that much more important - the US now has 2 key logistical areas in the Middle East that it can use for military action when needed.

I think that most moderate Arabs agree that the Lunacy taught in what appears to be a large number of Middle Eastern schools in regard to Israel needs to end. When you teach your children that Jews are like dogs and that it is a good thing to kill them you are breeding a never ending cycle of hate.
Israel is a tiny island of hope in a sea of radical madness. They are the only Democracy in the entire Middle East unless you count Iraq HAHAHAHA yeah right like that is gonna work.
They are America's only real ally in the Middle East.
Jordan is not so bad and Turkey likes us on occassion.
Israel has tried to make peace. They have given back land and have moved other Jews off of their land by force.
They are tired of being shelled EVERY DAY.

Iran is a rouge state that has promised to bring nuclear Jihad onto the world scene. This is a very bad thing. I hope we/they can stop this without a ground war.

my comment was harsh now that i read it over. and as such i would like to appologize. (yeah, i do have respect for others (glare) ) it was however not intended at the general muslim population. i also have muslim friends. the comment was intended against muslim extremists or fundamental islam. the problem with islam is that it is not keeping up with the times. it is a religion stuck in the past. it is a religion that treats women like dogs or any other property. it is a religion that must be "overhauled". and once again (how many times has this have to be said because muslims wake up) that the the muslim world REFUSES to do anything about extremists. this is the what the war is about. israel's response always comes AFTER they have been attacked. how can you not see that here. the muslims hold the key to the peace in the middle east and they refuse to do anything about it.

Treat women like dogs? If I treated my mom, girlfirend, wife or hell any woman as such, I deserved to get my ass beat. But here in America, I have something many of those "muslims" you see will never have, a secular education

The problem is that when you think of a muslim, you see a gun toting fucktard chanting anti American slogans. The media has branded that into your mind. I am proud to call myself American. If I dont like the ideas and values of this country, then I know where the door is, and I deserve not to be here. The problem is not the religion, its uneducated idiots who refuse to pick up books and get educated. Those "muslims" will believe anything that comes out of a religious figures mouth.

There are plenty of muslims who are up with the time. The issue is that we are the first generation Americans (being of easterly decent), and we are just now getting old enough to start making differences.

So what to do about extremists? Well the problem is that the extremists of these problem countries are the ones in charge. People are oppressed and are not allowed to learn. Since they stay dumb and the only education they get is the propanda that has a fundy twist on it, ergo you have your problems of extriemists who do violent acts in the name of a religion that they themselves hardly know about. We need to send some teachers imo too.

Bottom line, whatever your view of my religion, its your right. But, it is my right to educate and dispell unfactual information and bulls***.

Not all Middle Eastern countries are radicals. The UAE is heading in the right direction. We have a Dubai project and they are very progressive for a Middle Eastern nation. Their women wear make up, wear contempary clothing and they are educated.
The UAE is technically many smaller nations bound together.
Hopefully we can help free the Iranian people but it won't be easy and I am not for an extended occupation.
