Agreed! EVO is totally more badass then a STI. Besides my 91 tsi ( a EVOs' little brother) with a few mods smocked a 05 STI while I was running 8psi.... (flame2)

Well, had to clear out & re-arrange enough 'stuff' in my 2 car garage (read family storage-unit) to put her into the garage and bought a car cover for the times I will have to park her outside.

I'm just irritated as s*** this happened and now I gotta find some touch-up paint since the bastards threw the eggs hard enough to chip/scratch the paint!

Wow, I guess ask and ye shall receive huh? I didn't think my car would ever be considered a Subie... however, today was my day. I'll try to quote this conversation verbatum... it was epic fail! This guy was in a late 90's 3 series Bimmer.

Me (pumping gas): *whistling*
Dude: Hey man, nice car.
Me: Thanks.
Dude: You wanna race that against me?
Me: Nope... not really. (knowing I sadly would probably lose to a very older car and street racing really is stupid)
Dude: You sure man? I mean, that STi puts out really impressive numbers.
Me: I know they do but this isn't a Subie.
Dude: What? It looks just like a STi. The foglights are a huge giveaway.
Me: It's a Mazda. It says it on the trunk. The emblems are completely different.
Dude: Listen, if you're scared that my little BMW is going to cream your STi, then it's cool I suppose.
Me: (getting into my car) When I pull away, take a look, it say's Mazdaspeed.
Dude: Mazdaspeed? It has a rotary then right?
Me: (no response, just get in and drove away).

Sometimes I didn't think this really existed... however, until I witnessed it with my own eyes, I wouldn't have believed it. I guess that I have more of a car IQ than a good percent of the idiots out there. Some know they don't have car IQ and some just flat out are ignorant as hell.

Yesterday a 1992 beat-to-s*** VW Golf, was revving the s*** out of it next to me w/ his girlfriend riding shotgun. What do I do ?... wink and blow a kiss to his girlfriend....they love that move I enjoy that much more than racing, especially when the female smiles back.. Hhahhahhaha

Technically yes, however, my story was both. He thought my ride was a Subie (which kept it on-topic). Although, I'm not sure if you can classify someone as driving a stock 3 series with no mods to speak of and just being a blithering idiot when it comes to pretty standard car models. I mean, it wasn't like I was driving something exotic or something we don't have like a Ford Mondeo or a Pagani Zonda.

stopped revving at me. When the volvo 740 station wagon revved at me and I couldn't figure out where it was coming from... thats what got me to make the final decision to remove the wing again.

I'm not sure why, Bryan. Just coming home tonight in Troy, some clown in a 2000 or so Camaro SS was driving like douche, riding my ass, then the ultra lame flyby. I'm almost 30 years old, and am really hating the attention modded cars bring. Punk ass street racer he said, haha. I know, I'm the only 28 year old that can't even begin to grow a mustache. Go drive up Central Ave Saturday night, and you'll change your tune about people not harassing you, haha. It's ricetastic up there.

thats just the general scumbaggery of the capital district, i had one guy do the flyby in a 03 caviler the other day just to showcase how big his stones are. i think i could be in a minivan and get that though.

when i first met you i was surprised you were old enough for a license. seriously though i wouldnt have pinned you as a day over 25. i should probably find a way to get less attention too, im on david pattersons christmas card list for all the contributions i make to the state. i got pulled over last week for going 44 up hoosick st... seriously? a 30mph state highway?
