but the mazadaspeeds crank cradle (the very bottom of the block) seems to have thicker walls and has oil feed lines for the turbo. the NA has thinner walls it appears and has no oil feed coming off the crank cradle.. anyone think i should just tap into the the NA 2.0s oil pain?
Long block assembly is identical, swap the windage tray/crank cradle to the new motor, pay attention to where RTV is applied and o-ring for oil pump pickup. swap all coolant/oil line fittings to new motor, also oil cooler and threaded tube for oil filter.
