Not sure if this is the exact right place for this but hoping i can get some insight from other members. I removed the Corksport Interior LED kit out of my old car before trading it in. I went to install them in my new mazda 3 last night and ran into an odd problem. I installed all the interior ones and everything was perfect. Once i installed the License plate ones...my advanced keyless lock function no longer worked. When i pressed the button to lock the car it would just beep something like 8 to 10 times indicating a door is open. I went around the car and checked them all...twice. Finally i removed just the license plate ones and then it started working again. Anyone else with the Corksport kit have this happen? I called them and they have never heard of anything like this. I asked the dealership today and the service guy said it would not surprise him for mazda to wrap the lighting system into the same harness as the door open sensors and since the leds have less resistance they may be causing it to think the door is open. He advised i try to find "High Resistance LEDs" because apparently some bmws and stuff like that are picky about this kind of stuff too.
