Interchangable parts thread

Yeah the wiper stalk mod would be for intermittent wipers.
You can use a V6 oil filter on an FS, for more oil capacity. All the others are mostly covered. The MSP/MP3 upgrades to normal proteges should be a given. Escape endlinks are a good one, I have them. I believe for a rear wiper delete for the P5 you can use a plug from an Integra. 90s Accord lip fits the P5/MSP bumper.

I haven't done the end links yet, but is there a noticeable difference in handling? And what year escape, I can't remember.

OK, I'll play. Here's my list of the swaps.................

MPV adj intermittent wiper stalk
Celica clear bumper side markers
MX-6 rr strut bar
Tribute washer nozzles
Mazda 6 Wagon rr wiper
Protege 1.8 coils/wires
MSP valve cover w/engine cover
MSP door sills
626 v6 oil filter
MOMO e-brake handle
I know there's more but can't think of them............

Not swaps but have JDM footlamp kit, JDM tails

Also have a 626 valve cover w/cam sensor, cup holders with cover, JDM rr cupholders, EDM cubby/clock single DIN panel, MP3 Kenwood w/remote single DIN stereo, MSP single DIN cubby with door & MSP floor mats but not currently in/on car.

Cool thread..............didn't know about the 626 motor mount thing.

the wiper nozzles... what year tribute is that on?

From Jason at onlinemazdaparts.com ($13.98 + 6.50 for shipping was cheaper than ordering it locally and paying taxes).

So you are saying use the Celica GT-S MAF if you have a 1.6l? I have a 2000 protege with a 3" intake. I manged to custom the job and a degree of difficulty with the oem protege maf sensor (angles bends etc)...and I got the motor to run fine. Only problem is that my check engine light is on now. Should the GTS maf sensor remedy the engine light?

i will start WITH

-mazda6 bigger brakes

THERE IS NO MODIFICATION REQUIRED, TAKE YOUR OLD CALIPERS/PADS/ROTORS AND PUT IN THE NEW CALIPERS/PADS/ROTORS AND DRIVE AWAY, COMPLETE BOLT ON. ( FRONTS )

03-05 Mazda 6 => 11.1" => Fits no problem with a 16" wheel
06-07 Mazda 6 => 11.8" => Fits no problem with a 16" wheel
06-07 MazdaSpeed 6 => 12.2" => Must have a 17" wheel minimum

Now the calipers can be found in these other vehicles:

2006-2008 Ford Fusion
2007-2008 Lincoln MKZ
2006-2006 Lincoln Zephyr
2006-2008 Mercury Milan

NOTE: if and when purchasing new setup make sure you get the caliper brackets as well

Is this for only the front brakes, or all 4?

endlinks totally worth it. got rid of my terrible clunk as the front left stock was busted. much beefier.. as pictured..

Only for the front, the rear would require additional modifications to make the parking brake work properly

IIRC
just have to flip the rear breaks around so the park break is at the top and not the bottom and use the mazda6 park break wire at the back and the oem protege wire to connect to it.
